ABSTRACT

“Globalization” is now a buzzword frequently used by academics and policymakers to depict the epoch-making transformation of human life that is evolving in nearly every societal dimension: economic, political, cultural, and technological. Despite on-going debate 1 regarding the definition of globalization, its causal mechanism, and consequences, it is undeniable that globalization has, to a certain extent, reshaped the way people everywhere live, work, and do business.
