ABSTRACT
Conducting research with children is never a simple undertaking. The involvement of child participants engages researchers’ beliefs about who young people are; what research is for; and how risks, commitments, and responsibilities should be prioritized or balanced. As researchers contemplate and make decisions about such considerations, they inevitably venture into the realm of ethics.
