ABSTRACT
Ethnicity, gender, and class are the major bases of social inequality and have been widely studied producing a large research literature pertaining to each one. It was however realized that a person’s identity and social position are constructed and affected by more than one factor and that studying them separately presents a partial picture of more complex situations and experiences.
