ABSTRACT

[The programme] has broadened my mind. I no longer think only about the quality and the accuracy of the information I am “dispensing.” I give thought to how the students will be able to use it best. Whether or not it is working, remains to be seen…. I think it is a great idea to get the popular and well-recognized teachers to come in to share their thoughts and experiences. I've learnt the hard way that there is no manual of teaching … no right way to do it. So seeing how others go about it helps. (A participant of our instructional development programme) … but I am not a natural teacher, I am a teacher by default, so for me to have a very “teacher-process-oriented course” supported with a rationale of how I can change, has been very useful.
