ABSTRACT
Music is often conceptualized as a specific domain that can manifest creative processes in an artistic and communicative way. This association between music and creativity may appear obvious, but a deeper analysis of the association between these two categories can stress less self-evident relations. The analysis can start by considering the specific peculiarities of music intended both as a language and as a form of art, and its potential does not only highlight but also sharpen creativity processes.
