ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we look at management education and training in Asia, focusing in particular on three countries, namely the People’s Republic of China, Japan and South Korea. All are core economies in East Asia and are major players in the expanding trade and growing well-being of that part of the world. We will also refer to a number of Overseas Chinese domains in the region, such as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, if only in passing (see chapters 5, 6, 7 and 8).
