ABSTRACT
This chapter draws on the findings of the contributors to address the key questions posed in the introduction to the volume concerning the nature of the transatlantic relationship; the extent of transatlantic policy convergence; the importance of power, resources, and bargaining in the observed policy outcomes; and efforts to build deeper cooperation. The findings are mixed, but the author is cautiously optimistic with respect to enhancing transatlantic cooperation.
