ABSTRACT
One of the many questions posed in this book is whether or not the concept of the negative therapeutic reaction has lost its usefulness in the pluralism of contemporary psychoanalytic theories. In this chapter, I shall address this question and summarize 2 weeks of analytic material to indicate the way I think about this clinical phenomenon.
