ABSTRACT
Since China began to implement the reform and opening up policies in 1978, its development and reform have been centered on Two-T Change, namely the transition of economic institution and the transformation of social structure. Over 30 years, China has undergone rapid economic growth and enormous social transformation. But all this comes at a heavy cost, especially the cost of natural resources and ecological environment.
