ABSTRACT
Plastics, once considered the new “space-age” material, are now one of the most commonly used materials in the world. Designers use plastics in key functions in widely diversified products such as automobiles, computers and electronics, appliances, clothing, recreational and sporting equipment, toys, and packaging of all kinds.
