ABSTRACT
This chapter will give some insights into global warming, its anthropogenic links, the complexities of media communications, and the relationship between global warming and tourism. It examines the significance of global warming for humankind and highlights the differences between global warming, temperature and weather. In particular, it provides insights into human behaviour aspects that are necessary to translate scientific findings into acts that contribute to resolving the problems being faced by living in a warming world.
