ABSTRACT

The woman in the burkha, the religious veil worn by some Muslim women, has been hired to distribute leaflets to men and women promoting medicines and practitioners for men’s sexual health problems, near a busy bus terminal in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh (Figure 6.1). This is not an uncommon sight. Medicines for men’s concerns about their sexuality and sexual function are promoted commonly in the bustling bus terminals, which serve as the hub and meeting point for many different activities in the city.
