ABSTRACT
The process of developing and writing a management or ‘forward’ plan for your museum will provide valuable insights into the ways it can achieve its mission and strategic objectives. However large or small your museum is, the preparation of a forward plan is something that will support all aspects of the museum’s work and every member of staff, professional or volunteer, as well as the governing body.
