This book is about learning from experience. The question animating all of the following contributions is straightforward but demanding. How do lessons learned from past and current regulatory oversight of agricultural biotechnology and other high technology sectors help us – academics, policy practitioners, political decision makers, and the public – address new regulatory challenges in the agri-food genetics sector?
