ABSTRACT
Improvements in tennis racket design, testing and manufacturing have had a major impact on the sport. To ensure that these advances do not damage the nature of the game, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tests equipment and establishes rules for limiting the properties and performance of tennis equipment. These tests are designed and monitored by the ITF Technical Department.
