ABSTRACT
The Hockerton Housing Project (HHP), completed in 1998, was the first attempt in the UK to build a zero-emission community. This case study will look at how much difference its design has made to the overall footprints of its inhabitants. Is ‘green’ design the way forward, or are lifestyle changes more effective?
