ABSTRACT
The near infinite numbers of sexual images on the Internet showing under-aged children raises many questions, not least who the children in the images are. The concept of sexual images is often equated with sexual abusive images or child pornography and vice versa, which is why it can be confusing as to how we should describe the children within the images. As well as the need for clear definitions there is also a pressing need for further research in the field of identified children in the images.
