ABSTRACT
Tam Dao National Park (TDNP) is situated in Tam Dao mountain range, approximately 60 km north-west of Hanoi. It stretches over 80 km from the north-west to the south-east. Its coordinates are 21° 21¢–21° 42¢ north, 105° 23¢–105° 44¢ east, and it lies at the intersection of three provinces: Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen and Tuyen Quang (BirdLife International, 2004).
