recognize different approaches to the meaning of success in elite sport;
identify the relative strengths and weaknesses of performance measures in elite sport;
propose appropriate methods of measuring elite sport success in different contexts;
interpret and communicate data on performance in elite sport;
understand the political context in which elite sport success is judged; and
apply the principles outlined to other relevant sporting contexts.
