ABSTRACT

During a period of transition at the Centro Italiano di Solidarieta (CEIS), from the late 1980s to mid-1990s, art and dance movement therapy and psychodrama were introduced to the organisation. This chapter is the result of the three ‘protagonists’ of these interventions reflecting on their experiences and the outcome of some of their work. It was only in 1997 when we had each written papers in preparation for this book, that all three authors met together and found that we had shared many of the same feelings of excitement and frustrations when introducing our disciplines. We thus decided to join the individual papers together to form one chapter in three sections.
