ABSTRACT
Registration and protection of GIs in Gabon fall directly under the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI). In Gabon, the Center for Industrial Property of Gabon (CEPIG, Centre de Propriété Industrielle du Gabon), under the Ministry of Economy, Trade, Industry and Tourism, operates as the national liaison structure with OAPI.
