ABSTRACT
COSATU is acclaimed for its role in the fight against discrimination in society and the workplace as it spearheaded the struggle against apartheid. The influential role that COSATU and its affiliates have played in advancing workers’ rights and those of women in the workplace makes it important to examine the forms of inequalities that have developed within these organisations.
