ABSTRACT

There are a number of techniques for generating creativity. One only has to watch young children at play to observe that we lose our creative ability as we get older. As we learn about life, we come to accept the constraints, and comply with rules imposed on us. Young children are blissfully unaware of rules and conventions and therefore able to be more creative. In the United States, the expression for creative thinking is to ‘think outside the box’. The general principle for creative thinking is to think in an uninhibited way, like a child.
