ABSTRACT
In this chapter we aim to outline the background to the Waltham Forest Conciliation Service, conciliation and mediation, describe the key stages and details of the service, report on an evaluation study of the conciliation service and discuss some possible future implications for local education authorities (LEAs), educational psychology services (EPSs), schools and parents.
