ABSTRACT
Jean-Claude Allain is Professor of Contemporary History at the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III). He is the author of Agadir 1911, Joseph Caillaux 1863-1944, and numerous articles on many aspects of European international relations.
