ABSTRACT
In science, there are a number of skills which you must develop and practise and a large body of knowledge and understanding you must acquire as a trainee teacher. These are specified in Circular 4/98. Before being awarded QTS your training institution will have to verify in various ways that you have demonstrated these successfully and can teach primary science effectively.
