From the Adventurer, nos 93, 97, 116, 132. This journal (published twice weekly, from 7 November 1752 to 9 March 1754; reissued 1753-4) was edited by John Hawkesworth: besides Colman and Warton other contributors included the Earl of Orrery, Bonnell Thornton, Dr Johnson, and Richard Bathurst.
