M.L. Rosenthal (b. 1917), poet and critic, has taught at New York University since 1945. His publications include ‘The Modern Poets’ (1960), ‘The New Poets: American and British Poetry since World War II’ (1967), and ‘Sailing into the Unknown: Yeats, Pound, and Eliot’ (1978).
