Irvin Ehrenpreis, Inside Auden's Landscape, ‘New York Review of Books'

Ehrenpreis (b.1920) is Linden Kent Professor of English at the University of Virginia. His books include ‘The Types Approach to Literature’ (1945), ‘The Personality of Jonathan Swift’ (1958), and ‘Literary Meaning and Augustan Values’ (1974).
