I.M. Parsons on ‘A Half-Baked Little Satire', ‘Spectator'

Ian Parsons (1906–80) became a Director of Chatto & Windus Ltd in 1953, and was Chairman from 1954 to 1974. He was President of the Publishers Association from 1957 to 1959. His own publications include ‘The Progress of Poetry’ (ed., 1936), ‘Men Who March Away’ (1965), ‘Poems of C. Day-Lewis’ (1977), and ‘The Collected Works of Isaac Rosenberg’ (1979).
