Dilys Powell, from a Review on New Poetry, ‘Sunday Times'

Dilys Powell (b. 1901) is perhaps best celebrated for her film criticism in ‘Sunday Times’ and other periodicals. Her publications include ‘An Affair of the Heart’ (1957), ‘The Villa Ariadne’ (1973), and ‘Descent from Parnassus’ (1934), which includes a consideration of Auden on pp. 173–94.
