ABSTRACT

This article entitled ‘On Coleridge’s Poetry’ was written over the pseudonym ‘Gerord Montgomery’. It has been attributed to Henry Nelson Coleridge (1798–1843), Coleridge’s nephew and son-in-law, and his first editor (Walter Graham, ‘Henry Nelson Coleridge, Expositor of Romantic Criticism’, Philological Quarterly, 1925, iv, 231–2).
