ABSTRACT
Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is most generally understood as meaning dispute resolution by means other than court adjudication. The definition encompasses a wide range of court-oriented initiatives which are designed to facilitate a more effective administration of justice and help overcome delays which may occur through the normal court processes.
