ABSTRACT
F.G.Larminie. Some people might say that BP’s Environmental Control Centre (ECC) is the conscience of the rich. It is a department much like any other department in BP, which is concerned with looking after environmental aspects of everything that the BP group does, from the head office in London. The group has some 70 associate companies around the world and these associates have environmental coordinators, or in the case of the larger companies environmental departments.
