ABSTRACT
Apostolakis develops a method for integrating organisational aspects into human reliability analysis and probabilistic safety analysis. An integrative approach to safety management is demonstrated by Hale, Kirwan, and Guldenmund. Misumi and Yoshida give an impressive example of the interaction of the organisation and the individual as subsystems, showing the massive influence that leadership style has on accident rates.
