ABSTRACT
One of the problems with a book like this is that in terms of helping workers on a daily basis it will mean very little. It ends up being a mish mash: a bit of this, a bit of that, rules are okay sometimes and sometimes they are not, sometimes academic models and statistics are needed and sometimes they are not, depending on which sector of the industry and which hour of the day. It all seems a bit arbitrary and often over-simplified.
