ABSTRACT
Culture refers to values, practices and institutions used by individuals and groups to define, create, and organize a society. The study of culture focuses on how societies cope with universal problems, e.g., work, justice, community, transactions. Getting learners to understand and appreciate the role of culture in shaping the development and resolutions of conflicts or the processes and outcomes of negotiated transactions is an important objective.
