ABSTRACT
FIGURE 2 shows the schematic representation of the pump investigated for energy-savings. It is the balanced vane pump having two displacement processes, which are denoted respectively as the A-displacement process and the B-displacement process. It also contains a switching valve to direct half of the delivery flow to the suction port or to the pump outlet.
