ABSTRACT
Some experimental studies(l),(2) have been reported so far on the attenuation of propagating expansion waves in a long pipe with branch pipes. In order to improve the brake performance, however, it is important to be able to clarify theoretically the characteristics of the pressure reduction in a pipe with branch pipes.
