ABSTRACT
Sharon is concerned about the number of referrals she is receiving from general practitioners-are they all necessary? Sometimes it is difficult to make a decision based on the limited information in the referral letter. There isn’t enough time to see everybody and it is difficult to get hold of the GP. She wonders what happens at the other nearby hospitals.
