ABSTRACT
William Angoff has provided an overview of the development of DIF, its technical antecedents, and some of the issues and complexities that remain. As discussant, I am going to choose the route of supplementing Mr. Angoff’s comments rather than responding to them, I hope still in the spirit of the “history and development of DIF.”
