ABSTRACT
As a supervisor, I operate most frequently within the umbrella scheme of the Institute of Group Analysis, but I have my own individual ideas on session design, which are illustrated here. Influences in my own career have inevitably coloured my approach. Among these I would single out:
• Drama school, which helped me to identify with different characters, to try to think and feel a way into someone else’s skin.
