ABSTRACT
I originally went to interview Greta Schiller and Andrea Weiss at their London home in February 1993, just before the Berlin Film Festival. Andrea had contacted me following my interview with her about her newly published book, Vampires and Violets: Lesbians in the Cinema. Her description of Immortal. Invisible was most tantalizing. It sounded like the kind of book I would want to rush out and buy.
