ABSTRACT
The following Part explores the wider role of steel in the Creadon of architecture. The discussion proceeds from strategic decisions about the relationship between structure and enclosure to the principles of modern cladding. The final chapters are devoted to consideration of those individual building components commonly made from metal (and steel in particular).
