ABSTRACT
Mother Load is a four-part sequential sclpture.The images refer to traditional pojagis, square pieces of cloth uesed by Koren women for wrapping and carrying various object.Each of these pojagai-like forms constitues a patchwork a collage of personal and historical photograps as well as modified pieces of traditional and contemporary clothing. These collages functions as receptacles for Koren and Koren American history.
