ABSTRACT
Artworks frequently incorporate morally troublesome thinking. Sometimes artists disregard—if not embrace—the risk of discomfiting audiences’ moral sensibilities and reactions. Some works are indeed calculated to elicit just such an uptake. Here, the work qua generative process involves adapting an artistic design to the flouting of notions of moral goodness or the transgressing of prohibitions, norms, or proprieties.
