ABSTRACT
Herewith three glimpses of the future in a present-just-past. Each conjures with Christianity at a critical moment in the Common Era;1 all are culled from the bulging notebook of the global anthropologist, from the virtual archive that we are increasingly compelled to keep as our subject-matter becomes ever more mobile, ever more liable to migrate across space and time.
