Distributions of stages of pubic hair (PH) development in single year chronological age groups are summarized in Table 2, while characteristics of players by stage of puberty within each age/playing group are summarized in Table 3. Among CA1 Players, the majority of 11-year-old players are pre-pubertal (PH1). Among CA2 players, the majority are classified as mid-pubertal (PH3 and PH4), but 15 of 19 14-year old players are already in late puberty (PH4). Among CA3 players, there are only seven 15-year old players, and one-half of 16-year-old players are post-pubertal (PH5).
