Figures 1 and 2 compare the heights and body mass values of boys in the same stage of pubic hair but who are in different age/playing groups. Although CA2 players in PH2 are 0.7 years older than CA1 players in PH3, they are shorter. The CA3 players in PH4 are only 1.5 cm taller than CA2 players in PH4, although they are 1.8 years older. The same trends are apparent for boys’ mass.
