ABSTRACT

The deviation of the resultant vector describing field-coverage of the ball-possession sequence from the longitudinal axis of the pitch (Fig. 3), could be calculated by the software based upon xy co-ordinates. The following table compares the angles of attack of the overall phase and shows that only a very small and non-significant difference can be observed for the two types of sequences.
